The Cutting
Company, Inc., provides many forms of computerized and manual cutting
labor, as well as additional cutting-room related services. Much of the
cutting is done through the use of Gerber Garment Technology's S-91 GerberCutter
system. The Cutting Company cuts markers made by Lisa Enterprises, by customers who
generate their own markers, and markers made by third-party marker-making
services. All fabric types can be cut on site, including: knits, wovens,
non-wovens, natural fibers, synthetic fibers, and laminates. All spread and cut
methods can be employed, including: open-width, tubular, quarter-turn, matched
stripes, matched plaids, border-prints, face-to-face, face-to-face-one-way, and
one-way-face-up. Cuttable widths range from 109 inches to strip-cutting.
Additional products offered include fabric inspection and fusing (of interlinings
to face fabrics). All pricing is customized to the product(s) being supplied
and can vary greatly.
